[MA] Improving Interoperability of Wearables by Integrating them into the Web of Things

Abstract: Wearables are part of the Internet of Things (IoT) and one of its biggest problems is interoperability. To solve this problem, the W3C created the Web of Things (WoT), a set specifications and building blocks for improving interoperability in the IoT. For my thesis, I am utilizing these WoT technologies to create an application able to interact with health and fitness tracking bluetooth wearables.
The implementation aims to support as many bluetooth wearables as possible by using a WoT abstraction for device interfaces.
