AuthApp Wins Best Paper Award
The 24th International Conference on Web Engineering (ICWE), this year in Tampere, Finland, from 17-20 June 2024, awarded our paper “AuthApp — Flexible, Reusable Solid App for GDPR-compliant Access Granting” with the Best Paper Award. Our work is the result of the joint effort of Andreas Both, Thorsten Kastner, Dustin Yeboah, Christoph Braun, Daniel Schraudner, Sebastian Schmid, Tobias Käfer and Andreas Harth, and was developed as part of the MANDAT project, and uses the Solid (Social Linked Data) technology family.
The AuthApp is a web-based application to grant access to data in Solid-driven environments, while complying with data protection regulations, and no need to copy or store data outside the personal context such that all data remains under the user’s control.
